South Shields House Clearance Case Study

Our four fully insured members of staff were given the keys to the property and arrived promptly at 9.00am. The 1 bedroom flat was untidy, containing decaying food, faecal matter from cats, mice and humans, plus sanitary waste.

The team, in protective gear, was facing a daunting task as they entered the kitchen; the stench of cat manure overwhelmed the area and expired cat food littered the counters. When they opened the fridge freezer what had appeared to be a bad situation turned even worse, as an explosion of mice leaping out left droppings all over. They cleared it on the first load as it had to be disposed of at a specialized waste management center.

While the driver was unloading at the tip, our other staff members cleared the living room of a white leather sofa and armchair, a coffee table, a TV and stand, in addition to various other items. The bedroom contained a soiled mattress, along with numerous unclean garments and debris – although the wardrobe and sets of drawers had to stay put.

Our South Shields house clearance team swiftly loaded 3 vans with junk from the flat, as well as boxing and bagging up all garments and smaller furnishings for relocation to a separate property in South Shields (for our client).
