Customer Requirements
Our customer in this instance had very specific requirements as she explaines that there were many valuables in the property that she needed found and kept aside. Her father had recently passed away, he was an antique dealer so she explained how his house had some very valuable pieces of art, antique clocks and other collectables that she wished to keep as she was going to put as much in auction as possible to pay for all expenses following her fathers death.
Overview
Our customer couldn’t be there on the day of the clearance so she left a specific list of instructions of what was to be cleared and what she wanted our staff to keep an eye out for. Our guys got there at 9am and were let in by the neighbour who also made them a cup of tea. The started by clearing the cluttered passage to make space for carrying items out the front door. Once the space was cleared they started up stairs by bagging up all the rubbish and putting anything to charity for one side. As they were clearing they were finding all sorts of antique and collectable items that were getting forwarded to the customer via Whatsapp. She was extremely pleased as they were finding things that she didn’t know were there. Everything that our customer had written on the list was found by the end of the day. As the guys were clearing the rooms they would clear a corner first to store anything that was on the list to be kept for the customer. Most of the furniture was old and un-useable to charity shops so it was mainly smaller items that were donated. The property took 2 and a half van loads to clear, the last half being for charity and the rest was recycled.
