Overview

Our staff arrived slightly early (8.45 am) and were met by our customer and her brother. They showed our guys around and said that they would like to start in the main bedroom where they thought most of the items to be kept would be burried. The room was very hoarded, our driver said that you could barely get in the door. They started the house clearance by filling up our large dumpy bags with clothes, rags and books. As the room started to empty the customers were finding jewelry, watches, antique board games, family photos and other things that reportedly brought a smile to their faces.

Once the main bedroom was cleared the customers explained that they had found everything from their list except for their mothers old wedding dress. They trusted our staff to find it for them but said that everything else was ok to be cleared. As they went they were filling the van with everything to be disposed of at the recycling center while putting aside anything that was to be donated to charity. They found the wedding dress in the second smaller (but still very cluttered) bedroom which our customers were very grateful for. The full house clearance took four van loads and around 7 hours to complete. Three loads were recycled and one load was donated to charity.
